Rancho Regional Veterinary Hospital

Dr. Amanda Owens is native to Southern California, growing up in the nearby city of Norco.  Living in Norco, naturally, Dr. Owens was exposed to both small and large animals for her entire life.  She knew that she wanted to work with animals from a young age, they were her focus throughout her education.  Dr. Owens attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a clinical year of rotations at Oregon State University.  Dr. Owens graduated with honors from Ross University.  Furthering her education, Dr. Owens completed a rotating externship in internal and emergency medicine at Dove Lewis Emergency Hospital in Portland Oregon.  Dr. Owens is passionate about small animal internal medicine and surgery and is a skillful practitioner.  Dr. Owens is member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Owens joined Rancho Regional Veterinary Hospital during the summer of 2010 and has proven to be a wonderful addition.  She looks forward to caring for our patients and their human companions with the same attention and compassion that you are used to at Rancho Regional.

Dr. Owens shares her home with her loving husband, Richard, and her four-legged children... two dogs, four cats and two horses. During her time away from Rancho Regional, Dr. Owens enjoys traveling, horseback riding, scuba diving, reading fiction and non-fiction novels.
